STUFFING BOX MECH/HYD
Purpose
The stuffing box assembly is used to guide the slick-line from the lower hay pulley into the upper end of the lubricator. It also seals and contains the Well pressure while the slick-line is either static or in motion.
Description
The assembly is made up of a body, quick union nut, wheel, left and right frame, and base. The base with a bearing on either side is mounted onto the body with a nut. The body contains hollow packing and packing gland. The piston housing has a 1/8 NPT hole for hydraulic operation. For ease of handling, a handle is mounted on the base. The union nut is a standard 4-3/4” quick union. Customer specified connections can be done as requested.
